Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to the many committees that make up the Jamaica50 organization. Opportunities exist across our diverse programs incorporating the arts, music, literature, youth, social media, technology, communications, marketing, planning and organization.

Volunteers

Whether you are a seasoned professional, new immigrant, student who recently completed their studies, retired individual or someone interested in exploring a new niche, volunteering for the Jamaica 55 Celebration Committee offers a plethora of opportunities and has many rewards.  Not only will you be involved in planning the activities to celebrate Jamaica’s 55th anniversary of independence, the benefits are enormous, both to you, your family, and the community.  By effectively matching your abilities and interests you can learn new skills, forge tangible networks, nurture great partnerships and friendships, learn more about the culture and history of Jamaica and even advance your career while having fun at the same time.  Be a change agent, volunteer for the Jamaica 55 Celebrations Committee and Jump for Jamaica in 2017!
